The BLC has already examined the speed of various means of delivery. This Task Force will examine processing time and turnaround time within the lending library.

The Resource Sharing Standards Task Force will:
Identify and recommend a measurable standard for processing of requests for both returnable and non-returnable items to be approved by the BLC Board of Directors. The TF may wish to examine standards established by other consortia in recommending standards for the BLC.

Recommend incentives to reward those libraries, which achieve the established standards.

Communication:
The task force will work primarily with the BLC delivery and resource sharing contacts.
