The Digitization Task Force will develop and maintain a project website, create an advisory group for collaborative BLC digitization projects and organize a workshop focused on digitizing library resources.

1. Based on the survey results of the previous workshop, solicit members of the BLC to speak at a one-day symposium focused on digitization projects. Consider the format outlined in the previous Task Force report (p. 3)
2. Suggest ways in which the workshop can be offered on an ongoing basis
3. Design a webpage accessible from the BLC website that describes ongoing BLC digitization projects and links to them
4. Identify the expertise within the BLC and create a list of advisors who would be willing to assist other BLC libraries in starting and implementing digitization projects. Advertise the list. Make it accessible on the website

The Task Force will communicate with the BLC community through the development of a webpage linked to the BLC website, BLC-L and any COI that may have interest in the project. The Task Force will submit written reports

The Task Force will organize a one-day workshop. Plans for offering the workshop on an ongoing basis will be made

This Task Force is aligned with Goal 1: Entrepreneurial Projects: "To act as an access point for content developed by BLC ; to highlight available resources and encourage their use and with Goal 2: Staff Development: "To provide staff members of BLC institutions with programs that will inform them about current developments and best practices in information technology…"
