Staff Development
Develop a selection of learning opportunities based upon the needs of member institutions that relate to the BLC goals.
Facilitate broad availability of programs by offering them at low (or no) cost and in a variety of locations throughout the BLC region, to collaborate with colleague associations or consortia when such cooperation would enhance BLC staff development opportunities.
When possible, focus on programs that are either unavailable through other association/s consortia or especially relevant to BLC goals and objectives.
Provide an opportunity for members to share best practices development by BLC member institutions and elsewhere.
Encourage staff interaction, information sharing, and growth and nurturing of a BLC identity among member staff.
