Digital Projects

Identify ongoing digitization projects in the Boston Library Consortium member libraries and inform members of these activities through a link on the BLC website and with a one day workshop. Register digitized materials with the Digital Library Foundation. Determine from survey results whether collaborative efforts may result in a sustainable funding model by exploiting entrepreneurial initiatives with commercial partners. Explore possibility of collaboration with Greg Crane (Tufts) on proposal to digitize Encyclopedia Britannica (11th edition) or other materials
