Representatives: Representatives: 3-5 members representing BLC institutions.

Term: Members will be appointed for a two year term.

This team will work closely with the Training Contacts identified by each BLC institution and will report directly to Management Council. The team will survey COIs on a regular basis to determine other staff development and training needs.

The Staff Training & Development Team will
  • Develop a selection of learning opportunities based upon the needs of member institutions that relate to the BLC goals.
  • Facilitate broad availability of programs by offering them at low (or no) cost and in a variety of locations throughout the BLC region and will work with CAPCON in preparing a program of offerings.
  • Focus on programs that are relevant to BLC goals and objectives.
  • Provide an opportunity for members to share best practices development by BLC member institutions and elsewhere.
  • Encourage staff interaction, information sharing, and growth and nurturing of a BLC identity among member staff.
