REGISTRATION
Any resident of the Commonwealth is eligible to receive a free borrower's card. Holders of Consortium Cards must register for a borrower's card at the Registration Desk on the first floor of the Central Library or at the Book Delivery Desk on the second floor of the Central Library. A borrower's card is required for circulating library materials from the Central Library, the branch libraries, the libraries in the Metro Boston Library Network for home use and for requesting Research Library materials for use within the building.

CIRCULATION POLICIES
Generally, Library materials are due 21 days from the date they were borrowed; certain materials may be subject to shorter loan periods. The due date appears on the book receipt inserted in each item. Renewal of materials is permitted although certain exceptions apply - please check at the Circulation Desk. The fine for overdue materials is $0.10 per day.
Research Library materials do not circulate.
