About Communities of Interest
What is a Community of Interest, or a CoI?
It's a group of individuals who share knowledge and best practices.
What do you do in a CoI?
Joining a CoI provides an opportunity (in person and virtually) to:
- Participate in a forum for exchanging ideas, discuss issues, or solve problems
- Identify issues or initiatives for the BLC Board to address
- Act as a resource for BLC Task Forces
- Suggest staff development programs, related to the BLC Goals, to the Task Force
Who can belong?

How often do CoIs meet?
Each CoI decides its own meeting schedule and how to meet whether it be through conference calls,
video conferencing, e-mail, or face-to-face.
How do we communicate with each other, with others in the BLC?
